Here are the most frequently asked questions about the themes:
The theme doesn't apply to everything. Or Keyboard/Messages didn't change.
To use a full theme on your device,
you need to know that:
#1. The themes are only fully applied when
using the light mode on your device.
In dark mode, only some settings will be
customized and the rest will use your
device's original default colors.
#2. The customization of an app will only
happen when you use Samsung's native apps.
So make sure that you are using Samsung's
default apps and not third-party apps
(e.g. Gboard) or customization
apps like Good Lock.
This goes for Messages app, Calendar,
Calculator, Keyboard, etc.
I can't download your theme or can't receive my purchase!
My transaction had an error / failed / crashed!
Being only a designer I can't handle financial matters with buyers. Not at all.
The theme store and all purchase transactions/payments are processed and managed by Samsung.
For further assistance, please contact Samsung directly for help with these questions. (You can use the Theme Store support or go to your country's Samsung page).
My very small piece of advice: Always keep up with the latest updates for Samsung's built-in apps.
My messaging app is not customized.
Why doesn't my messaging app look like the screenshots in the store?
Samsung Themes only work with the standard messaging app "Messages".
So you will need to go to:
> Settings
> Apps
> Choose Default Apps
And make sure the "Messages" app is selected as your default messaging application.
My keyboard is not customized.
Why doesn't my keyboard look like the preview in the store?
Again, Samsung themes only work with the default Samsung apps.
If you don't get the view as in the screenshot, then go to:
> Settings
> General management
> Language and keyboards
> Keyboard list and default
Make sure the default "Samsung keyboard" is selected.
How to uninstall / delete a Wallpaper, Theme, Icon Pack, AOD
Please follow the steps below:
1. Open your Themes Apps
2. Press on "My Stuff" in the top left corner
3. Select the desired category (Themes, Wallpapers, Icons or AODs)
4. Apply the Default Theme, Wallpaper, Icon or AOD
5. After applying Default, choose the Theme, Wallpaper Icon or AOD which you want to delete
6. Press on Delete
It's done and now you can apply a new theme (or your favorite one) if you want.
I purchased a theme/ wallpaper/AOD and lost the data on my device.
How can I download my previously purchased items without paying again?
All downloads, free or paid, are linked to you Samsung account.
So sign into your Samsung account on your new device, go to the Theme Store, click "Menu", select “Purchased items”.
You can then download anything previously bought.
Can I ask for a new theme?
